Void Walker Assassin

Description

A void walker assassin is a semi-synthetic construct with the sole purpose of killing high ranked political and military targets. While they can be deployed on the battle field, they are too expensive and too specialized to prove very practical.
A void walker is powered by two void generators. One of these is used to power the body while the other is used to power the armored suit as well as other systems. This eliminates the need for an external power pack for the suit. Instead it gets a void jump pack. The void jump pack is among the assassin's greatest tools. What it does is throws the user into the void(the space between universes and dimensions) for a short duration. After a set time the user is thrust back into our universe at a place and time of its choosing. There are limitations however. This being a portable pack means that the distance of the jump is limited to 415 feet. It is also only possible to move forward in time. Now you might wonder what good is it to move forward in time, we all move forward in time. Ah, but you see we don't get to choose how we move forward. When a void walker preforms a jump it can take around eight minutes(relative to itself mind you, as time does not exist in the void) to reach the point it wants to exit. Eight minutes is a long time and the target is more than likely to have moved in that time. So, what it can do is reenter our universe at any time, within those eight minutes. This can give the illusion of instantaneous teleportation or can be used to reappear at a random time, catching the target off-guard. The void jump pack can perform five jumps before it has to either cool down or recharge, depending on the type of jumps preformed (long jumps need a cool down period of four minutes at most and it always takes one minute to recharge.)

Physical Capabilities
Void walkers are faster than mortal minds could hope to comprehend. They utilize every trick in the Immortal Empire’s procession to maximize their speed and accuracy. HC-120 Nerve clusters ensure faster than light communication across its body. Void walkers utilize predictive algorithms to quickly assess the most likely action a target will take and react before they even begin to make a move. Should the target prove fast enough to change their action based on the assassin’s slight movements than the assassin will change tactics and engage the target as move are made rather than try and predict those moves.
Decentralized Nervous System: The void walker possesses multiple linked proto-brains spread out across its body. This increases the amount of data that it is able to process, allowing it to more easily and efficiently react to combat changes. This also prevents it from being killed after it’s had its head removed.


Weapons
Assassin's Blade
This short blade is far more deadly than it appears. It uses a disruption field to slice through all but the toughest of armor. The blade itself emits a short range (and by short range I mean you actually have to touch the blade) paralysis field that can cause a struck limb to seize up and become unusable for a short time. The blade also excrete several powerful neurotoxins, acids, and viruses all designed to overwhelm any immune system and kill a target. This means that even a small wound can end up killing a man. Several cuts are needed to kill larger targets, such as an amood, quickly. These characteristics are true of every blade the assassin wields.

Beam Splitter and Void Beam Cannon
The main gun a void walker uses is odd in that it is rarely ever used to kill. Instead it is used to weaken a target until a killing blow can be delivered. It consists of two weapons, a beam splitter and a void beam. The beam splitter fires an energy beam that, upon contact with a solid object or shield, will diffuse into a cone. This can result in a 1/2 inch entrance wound to become a 6 inch exit wound. However, this is not its purpose. It is used instead to collapse layered shielding. It does this by penetrating the first few layers of a shield and then, before those layers can collapse, the beam splits. Unable to move forward into the shielding or rebound back off it, it causes a small explosion inside the shield layers. Generally it takes two to four shots to fully collapse a personal shield.
The void beam fires a dimensional rift that connects straight to the void. While the beam can pass through any object, it is barley even half a millimeter wide. It can be used to put holes in vital organs or to cut off important pieces to disable a shield generator. The only things that can stop a void beam is a dimensional tear.
Void Beam Rifle
A void walker is just as capable of taking a target out at a distance as it is up close. A void beam rifle fires a dimensional rift that connects straight to the void. Unlike the void beam cannon mentioned above, the rifle fires a dimensional tear that is five inches wide, with a range of three thousand feet. The beam propagates instantaneously and is unaffected by gravity, planetary rotation, wind, or even obstacles. The one limiting factor of the rifle is that it can be fired only once before it suffers total meltdown and has a risk of exploding.
Additional Weapons
A void walker's armor can come with several weapons built into it. Beam splitters and a magnetically accelerated spike used to punch through armor, called a pile driver. The knees, elbows, heels, and feet all have extendable blades that can be used in close combat.

A void walker also has two emergency back-up weapons. The void walker uses two liquids to transmit power throughout its body. The first liquid become a powerful acid the instant that power stops. This melts the assassin into a puddle of goo to prevent any reverse engineering. Assassins are programed to jump on a target just before death in an attempt to melt them along with itself. The second liquid becomes dangerously unstable just after power stops flowing through it. This combined with the acidic nature of the first liquid will result in the puddle of goo that was once an assassin to suddenly and rather violently explode.

Armor
A void walker assassin’s armor is made of layered Durasteel HC-10 [Normally a void walker’s armor would be HC-100, but this would be horrendously unfair and unbalanced so chucked it for a smaller number.] In addition to advance shielding, the armor is capable of utilizing the most advanced stealth technology available to the Immortal Empire.
The void walker’s armor also utilizes thousands of sensor pits that give it a 360 degree field of view and allows it to see through stealth and cloaking fields at close rang,e and even into different dimensions to a small degree.
The armor makes use of hyperspatial Warp Field Generators, increasing the assassin's speed and giving it a limited ability to levitate and change its direction mid air. In addition it contains several hyperspatial Hyperspatial Field Generators, that is to say Hyperspatial Field Generators that exist in a hyperspatial state. These little devices can play havoc with enemy sensors as well as ordinance, causing it to warp around or detonate prematurely.


Only Council members and those of the Order of the Emerald Sword can freely send out Void Walker Assassins. Lords can request the right to use them, but it is up to a council member to determine whether or not to allow this.
